The gear box (1) has two separated oil chambers (20,34) for accommodating two types of oil. The wheel set oil is provided for lubricating pinion (32) and hydraulic oil is provided for actuating a control agent (9). The control agent for differential lock (2) is arranged in wheel set oil chamber. The oil chambers are sealed against each other in the region of control agent for differential lock by diaphragm sealing unit (10). The application of hydraulic oil to differential lock through diaphragm sealing unit is controlled by control agent.
