A fuel cell system in which an anode gas and a cathode gas are fed to a fuel cell to generate an electric power, and which comprises: a control valve for controlling the pressure of the anode gas to be fed to the fuel cell; a buffer section for storing an anode off-gas discharged from the fuel cell; a pulsating operation means for controlling the control valve in such a manner that the pressure of the anode gas can be increased and decreased periodically at a predetermined pulse width; and a pulse width correction means for correcting the pulse width on the basis of the temperature of the buffer section. |
