Embodiments described herein relate to an apparatus having a processor and a memory storing instructions which when executed configure the processor to generate incident prediction alerts for transmission to a health care organization system by applying rules to data sets. Each rule may define a set of data elements linked to an incident, and the processor may be further configured to detect one or more sets of data elements in the data sets. The processor may be configured to normalize the data feeds, generate rules on historical data, generate prediction alerts by applying rules to near-real time data feeds, train to update rules, validate and error check rules, remove statistical noise, generate visualizations for the data feeds, and receive input and feedback data. Embodiments further relate to a system for health care incident alerts made up of the apparatus connected via a network to a plurality of clients accessed by user stations of the health care organization, and a data repository. The apparatus may be configured to connect via the network to devices and machines within the health care organization to receive data feeds therefrom. Embodiments further relate to non-transitory computer readable medium with instructions encoded thereon to configure the apparatus. |
