<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing methane separation membranes or carbon dioxide separation membranes that have excellent thermal resistance, durability, and chemical resistance (corrosion resistance). <P>SOLUTION: The present invention pertains to a method for producing methane separation membranes or carbon dioxide separation membranes that is characterized by including: (a) a step for preparing a metal alkoxide solution by (i) stirring and mixing an acid catalyst, water, and an organic solvent, (ii) then adding tetraalkoxysilane, and stirring and mixing, (iii) and then adding a hydrocarbon group-containing trialkoxysilane containing a hydrocarbon group selected from a group consisting of a C21-6 alkyl group and phenyl group, and stirring and mixing; (b) a step for coating an inorganic porous supporting body with the metallic alkoxide solution; and (c) a step for firing the inorganic porous supporting body coated with the metallic alkoxide solution at 30-300°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
