<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide optical glass having an optical characteristic of high refractive index and low dispersion suitable for mold press molding, low in partial dispersion ratio, reduced in deterioration of a mold in mold press molding, and excellent in mass productivity. <P>SOLUTION: The optical glass contains, in mole as its glass composition, 1-47.5% of TeO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>, 0.1-31% of B<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">3</SB>, 0.1-29.5% of ZnO, 0-10% of Nb<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">5</SB>, 0-2% of WO<SB POS="POST">3</SB>, 0-11.5% of La<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">3</SB>, 0-3% of GeO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>, and 0-3% of GaO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>, and not contains substantially PbO. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
