<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a metal fiber-resin composite material composition that can express a feature of a metal fiber and a resin while maintaining a fiber length of a metal fiber by a favorable yield. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing a composite material composition comprises as follows. A polymer flocculant is added after a constituent material is dispersed into a solvent, the constituent material is agglomerated as a flock shape, the aggregate is separated from the solvent, then the solvent is removed. The method of manufacturing a composite material composition is characterized in that the constituent material includes: (A) a powdery material that has an ion exchange capacity; (B) a metal fiber; and (C) a resin. The composite material composition is characterized by being obtained by the method of manufacturing the composite material.
