<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and inexpensive stacking apparatus and conveyance equipment including the same as compared with conventional ones. <P>SOLUTION: This stacking apparatus 2 stacks a load W conveyed from a conveyance path 3 on a pallet P includes: a grip 9 for gripping and releasing the load W; moving mechanisms 4, 8 moving the grip 9 between the conveyance path 3 and the pallet P and adjusting the height of the grip 9 relative to the pallet P; and a detection part 10 mounted to the grip 9 and detecting a distance relative to the load W arranged below the grip 9.
