<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the buckling of a paper sheet occurring between a paper sheet transporting part and a striking part which corrects the skew of the paper sheet while moving toward downstream in a transporting direction of the paper sheet, the buckling occurring when the striking part strikes the tip of the paper sheet. <P>SOLUTION: The paper sheet transporting device includes: the striking part 300 that strikes the tip of the paper sheet while moving toward downstream in the transporting direction of the paper sheet to correct the skew of the paper sheet; a slip roll 49 that transports the paper sheet toward the striking part 300 and pushes the paper sheet against the striking part 300 while slipping on the surface of the paper sheet in a state that the paper sheet is struck by the striking part 300; a second transport roll 45 that transports the paper sheet which is transported with the tip thereof struck by the striking part 300, more downward; and a carriage 310 that shortens a distance between the slip roll 49 and the second transport roll 45 and guides the transported paper sheet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
