The holding members (66) are arranged on both sides of the glass panel (2), and each of the holding members moves towards the glass panel (2) so as to approach the other. A control device (17) is configured so as to move the holding members (66), and hold the portion of each slip sheet (3) that protrudes from the side of the glass panel, at least before the chucking device unit (12) lifts the glass panel (2).
