Vehicle AC generator comprises a stator comprising stator windings; front frame and rear frame, each rotatably supporting a rotor in the stator via a space on an inner circumference thereof; cooling fan fitted to the rotor; first polarity arm configured to rectify a current of one polarity; second polarity arm configured to rectify a current of another polarity; rectifier device configured to rectify an alternating current generated in stator windings; protective cover covering rectifier device. Rectifier device comprises first heat dissipating plate having rectifier elements forming first polarity arm, second heat dissipating plate rectifier elements forming second polarity arm, and connection plate formed in waveform-like shape and disposed between the first and second heat dissipating plates, and passage of a cooling air blown by the cooling fan formed between first heat dissipating plate and connection plate and between second heat dissipating plate and connection plate. |
