摘要 PURPOSE: An air conditioner for a hybrid vehicle is provided to actively control the temperature of air discharged to the indoor of a vehicle according to indoor and outdoor temperatures by differentially controlling an amount of engine cooling water entering to a heater core according to the heat load of the heater core. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner for a hybrid vehicle comprises a blower(3), a heater core(7), an engine(9), a controller(30), an engine stop detecting unit(10), and a heat load detecting unit for the heater core(20). The controller differentially controls the RPM of a water pump(9a) according to the heat load of the heater core so that an amount of engine cooling water supplied to the heater core can be differentially controlled according to the heat load of the heater core when the engine is stopped by changing from an engine driving mode to a motor driving mode. The engine stop detecting unit detects whether or not the engine is stopped. The heat load detecting unit for the heater core detects the heat load of the heater core.
