<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the thinning of an input device, and to use even portable electronic equipment to be driven by a battery in a long time. <P>SOLUTION: The input device of portable electronic equipment is used, including: infrared detection parts 1A and 1B for detecting infrared rays to be emitted from the finger 6 of a human body; and a signal generation part 11 for detecting the position or moving speed of the finger 6 based on the signal level difference of infrared detection signals VR and VL outputted from the infrared detection parts 1A and 1B, and for outputting the detected position or moving speed of the finger 6 as an input operation information signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
