摘要 PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a high-strength connecting rod for a high-pressure combustion engine is provided to improve the fuel efficiency, output, and noise characteristic of a high-pressure combustion engine by reducing the weight of a connecting rod for MPI(Multi Point Injection) as well as connecting rods for GDI(Gasoline Direct Injection) and TGDI(Turbo Gasoline). CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a high-strength connecting rod for a high-pressure combustion engine comprises the steps of: injecting alloy powder in a mold and pressurizing the mold to mold a preform(10), sintering the preform in a sintering furnace, forging the sintered body, and cooling the forged product, wherein the alloy powder comprises 0.50-0.75 weight% of carbon, 1.40-1.60 weight% of chrome, 0.3-0.5 weight% of manganese, 0.3-0.5 weight% of manganese sulfide, 0.01-3.0 weight% of vanadium, and the remaining amount of iron and the sintering step is implemented in one of non-oxygen, lean-oxygen, and reduction atmosphere.
