PURPOSE: A system and a method for providing product information using multi-category classification are provided for users to conveniently and fast approach desired products by using the multiple category classification system in which registering and searching products are occurred. CONSTITUTION: A category table(46) stores numerous sorted items with its identifying codes in each category. A web server(42) provides a seller terminal(20) and a buyer terminal(10) with category selection pages. Product information stored by sellers is stored into a database with each identifying code obtained from the category table.
