PURPOSE: A health care system using a stress index obtained from heart rate variation(HRV) and a method thereof are provided to generate a health care program based on a biometric index calculated from received biometric information in real time, thereby supplying the health care program to a user. CONSTITUTION: Biometric information is received. A biometric index is calculated based on the received biometric information(S220,S230). A health care program is generated based on the calculated biometric index(S240). The generated health card program is provided to a user(S250). The biometric index includes at least one index of a stress index, a fatigue index and a health index. The health index is calculated based on the stress index and the fatigue index.
