PURPOSE: A dust scattering prevention system and a method thereof are provided to automatically spay sprayed materials if at least one of measured dust concentration and wind velocity is over a reference value by installing a dust concentration meter, a wind velocity meter, and a wind direction detector at work fields. CONSTITUTION: A dust scattering prevention system comprises a dust concentration meter(300), a wind velocity meter(400), a sprayer, and a control part(500). The dust concentration meter measures dust concentration at work fields. The wind velocity meter measures wind velocity at the work fields. The sprayer sprays sprayed materials for preventing dust from being scattered at the work fields. The control part controls the operation of the sprayed materials according to at least one of the dust concentration measured value and a wind velocity measured value.
