PURPOSE: A tooth patch which is attached on teeth, containing phytoncide is provided to remove foreign materials from teeth and to remove bad breath. CONSTITUTION: A tooth patch used for removing bad breath contains 0.1-20 wt% of phytoncide extracted from cypress timber. The tooth patch also prevents dental cavity and periodontal diseases. The tooth patch comprises a support layer and a teeth adhering layer which is easily attached or adhered to teeth or gingival. The teeth adhering layer is formed of alginate, xanthane gum, and hydrogypropyl cellulose polysaccharides. A polymer used for the support layer is polyvinyl acetate, ethyl cellulose, polymethyl methacrylate, methacrylic acid copolymers, methacryl copolymers, aminoalkyl methacrylate copolymers, cellulose acetate phthalate, shellac, polyethylene, PVC, and polyurethane.
