<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence of overshoot caused in a dark part or a bright part when correcting a dark part gradation. <P>SOLUTION: The image processor includes: an acquisition part for acquiring image data; a first gradation conversion part for performing gradation conversion processing according to a first input/output characteristic; a generation part for generating blurred image data on the basis of image data to which gradation conversion processing has been applied by the first gradation conversion part; a second gradation conversion part for performing the gradation conversion processing of the blurred image data according to a second input/output characteristic; and a correction part for making correction to improve brightness of the dark part gradation of the image data acquired by the acquisition part on the basis of the blurred image data to which the gradation conversion processing is applied by the second gradation conversion part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
