The apparatus comprises, at least one processor; and at least one memory including computer program code; the at least one memory and the computer program on a key code configured to, with the at least one processor, cause the apparatus at least to perform: receiving pressing of a key on a virtual keyboard; determining, based on a predetermined rule, whether the pressed key in a main input mode can be mapped to an auxiliary input mode; and displaying one or more keys for the auxiliary input mode in an expandable region of the virtual keyboard if the key can be mapped to the auxiliary input mode. |
