An engine setting system includes an ECU 80 which is mounted on a vehicle and controls driving of an engine. The ECU 80 can be communicably connected to an external device 90 so that an engine control variable stored in the ECU 80 can be changed by the external device 90. The ECU 80 includes a bypass passage opening adjusting means, which adjusts opening of a throttle valve bypass passage 77 based on a rotational speed of the engine E, and an opening storing means which stores target openings of the bypass passage opening adjusting means corresponding to rotational speeds of the engine E. The target openings can be changed by the external device 90. |
