PURPOSE: A mosquito attractant and a mosquito trap using the same are provided to effectively attract mosquitoes without harm to humans, to improve attracting effect, and to be used as a light in the night. CONSTITUTION: A mosquito attractant is prepared by adding 0.05-0.08 wt% of lactic acid and ethanol to a gelatin solution and gelling the mixture. The mosquito attractant further contains dipropylene glycol and grapefruit seed extract. A mosquito trap comprises: a case(10) with an inhalation hole at the front side and an opening at the back side; a first attracting unit which is mounted at the inhalation hole and attracts mosquitoes to the light; a suction fan which is mounted inside the case and sucks in attracted mosquitoes; a base part(50) which is coupled to the back side of the case and has a collector for collecting the mosquitoes; and a second attracting unit which is mounted at the case or base part and attracts mosquitoes using a fragrance. |
