APPARATUS FOR PREVENTING WATER INDUCTION IN STEAM TURBINES

PURPOSE: A device for preventing the inflow of water into a steam turbine is provided to guarantee a stable load operation as water is discharged when the water level at a curved portion or an inclined portion is above reference value. CONSTITUTION: A device for preventing the inflow of water into a steam turbine(10) comprises a first temperature sensor unit(30), a second temperature sensor unit(40), an alarm unit(70), and a control unit(60). The first temperature sensor unit measures the temperature at an outlet of a middle pressure turbine. The second temperature sensor unit measures the temperature at an inlet of a deaerator(20). The alarm unit informs users of the inflow of water into the steam turbine. The control unit calculates the temperature change rates at the middle pressure turbine outlet and the deaerator inlet. The control unit compares the temperature change rate at the middle pressure turbine outlet with a first temperature reference value and the temperature change rate at the deaerator inlet with a second temperature reference value and controls the alarm unit on the basis of the comparison result.
