PURPOSE: An opening and closing device for a floodgate using an internal gear is provided to open and close a floodgate using a small amount of external driving force and to prevent an external gear from being exposed to the outside. CONSTITUTION: An opening and closing device for a floodgate using an internal gear comprises outer frames(100), arched inner frames(200), a floodgate(300), arched internal gears(400), connections(410), external gear mounting portions(420), external gears(510), and an external gear drive unit. The outer frames are installed on both sides of water way. The inner frames are installed in the inner sides of the outer frames. The floodgate is installed between the inner frames. The internal gears are installed between the inner and outer frames to be separated from the outer frames. The connections are protruded from the side ends of the floodgate and located at the tops of the internal gears. The external gear mounting portions are extended from the connections and are inserted between the internal gears and the outer frames. The external gears are installed on the inner surfaces of the external gear mounting portions. The external gear drive unit rotates the external gears. |
