PURPOSE: A waste heat recovery system for ships is provided to constantly maintain pressure of circulating water regardless of load changes in a scavenge air cooler or a heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION: A waste heat recovery system for ships comprises a circular water system(1), a working fluid system(2), and an evaporator(300). The circular water system uses waste heat generated from a ship engine(10) for circulating water. The working fluid system vaporizes working fluid using heated circulating water, and generates power while a turbine(30) which rotates by vaporized working fluid. The evaporator is installed between the circular water system and the working fluid system, and heat-exchanges the circular water with the working fluid. The anti-evaporation unit of the circular water system prevents the circular water from evaporating by compensating the pressure of a circulating water pipe(20).
