PURPOSE: A chip compressor is provided to recycle chips and cutting oil collected in the compression of the chips because the collected chips are compressed by a piston not to contain impurities. CONSTITUTION: A chip compressor comprises a chute(10), a body(20), a piston(30), a side door cylinder(40), and a discharge cylinder(50). The chips and cutting oil generated in the process of products are inserted in the chute. The chute is mounted on the top of the body. A chip storage part(21) is formed in one side of the body. The piston is arranged in one end of the body and is longitudinally transferred in the body. A compression block(32) is installed in the end of a piston rod(31) of the piston. The side door cylinder is fixed under the piston and comprises a bracket(42) and a door(43). The bracket is installed in the end of a cylinder rod. The door is vertically installed in both ends of the bracket, is attached to both sides of the body, and is transferred in a longitudinal direction. A discharge block(52) of the discharge cylinder is installed in the other side of the body and is longitudinally transferred by the cylinder rod.
