A method and apparatus for performing image processing, the method comprising: at each of a plurality of different time-steps in a time period, positioning a mark (14, 20) onto a surface (12); for a first portion of the time period, using a first sensor (4), generating a first image (30) or image sequence of the surface (12) with at least a portion of each of the projected marks (14, 20) in that image or sequence; for a second portion of the time period, using a second sensor (6), generating a second image (32) or image sequence of the surface (12) with at least a portion of each of the projected marks (14, 20) in that image or sequence; and performing a process that is dependent upon the respective positions of the mark (14, 20) in the first image (30) or image sequence and the second image (32) or image sequence. |
