PURPOSE: An impact holder generating a parallel region within a reacting flow for a spectrum and a parallel region generating device using the same are provided to calculate enthalpy on a central line by using a spectroscopic technique by making the reacting flow easily reach to a parallel state. CONSTITUTION: An impact holder(h) generating a parallel region within a reacting flow for a spectrum comprises a plasma source and a flat disc(d). The plasma source generates a high enthalpy reaction flow(f1) of high pressure and high density, thereby discharging the same as a non-parallel state from a nozzle(n). The flat disc is arranged coaxially to the plasma source so that a disc-shaped contact surface contacting to the reacting flow is toward the nozzle of the plasma source. Baud type impulse waves(s) are generated in a space between the flat disc and plasma source. A spectrum device is formed into a doughnut shape, thereby calculating enthalpy by receiving lights with respect to the central line of the reacting flow and forming the parallel region by changing the reacting flow from a non-parallel state into a parallel state.
