PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition containing plant winter bud extract is provided to ensure formulation stability and antiwrinkling or antioxidative functions. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerated cosmetic composition contains 1-30 wt% of plant winter bud extract. The plants include Magnolia kobus, Sophora japonica, Schizonepeta tenuifolia, Rosa rugosa, Tussilago farfara, Lonicera japonicam, Carthamus tinctorius, or Syzygium aromaticum. The extract is prepared using water or a mixture of water and alcohol. The alcohol is ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, or butylene glycol. The cosmetic composition is manufactured in the form of a lotion or a cream without a preservative. The cosmetic composition is stored at 0-10 deg. C. |
