[Classes 65 (ii) and 89 (ii)] [Also in Group XIV] Coat hooks, hinges, &c. are secured to walls, doors, &c. by a single screw or bolt, the bracket having a slot or aper ture e in which fits a separate pronged-end or V-shaped plate f which projects to form a grip when the bracket is secured by a screw passing through both the bracket and the loose plate. As shown the loose plate f has prongs g and a central hole c<3> and is larger than the slot e to hold the bracket in place. In a modification a dovetail slot in the rear of the bracket engages a V-shaped loose plate with a central aperture for the screw.
