<p>[Object] To improve detection accuracy of a rotation detecting member, reduce a load applied to the rotation detecting member, and suppress an increase in size in the thrust direction. [Solution] A transmitting gear 24 is mounted on a rotating shaft 10a of a spool so as to be rotatable integrally with the rotating shaft 10a. A rotation sensor 15 is disposed eccentrically with respect to the rotating shaft 10a in a radial direction of the rotating shaft 10a. The rotation sensor 15 is disposed in a direction in which the rotating shaft 10a is separated from the rotation sensor 15 by a large load F applied from a seatbelt to the spool 10 in an emergency. The rotation sensor 15 includes annularly arranged magnets 21 and a magnet holding member 22 that holds the magnets 21. The magnet holding member 22 includes a receiving gear 23. External teeth 23a of the receiving gear 23 engage with external teeth 24a of the transmitting gear 24 to increase a speed of rotation of the spool 10, whose rotation is transmitted to the receiving gear 23.</p> |
