<p>PURPOSE: A light emitting device, a display device, and a method for driving an organic electroluminescent device are provided to prevent a decrease of the lifetime of equipment by suppressing faults due to a leak current. CONSTITUTION: An organic electroluminescent device(10) includes a first electrode, a light emitting layer, and a second electrode. The light emitting layer is arranged on the first electrode. A driver circuit supplies a driving current between the first electrode and the second electrode. The driver circuit drives the organic electroluminescent device. The value of the driving current is below a predetermined value. A drive stop means stops the driving of the organic electroluminescent device. The drive stop means includes a transistor(Q1), a transistor(Q3), and an operational amplifier(AMP2).</p> |
