<p>PURPOSE: An underwater drilling apparatus and method for applying a foundation element into the bottom of waters are provided to apply a foundation element to an accurate position. CONSTITUTION: An underwater drilling apparatus(10) for applying a foundation element into the bottom of waters comprises a submersible work platform(20), multiple ground contact elements(22), one or more guide pipes(30), and a guide pipe drive. The submersible work platform is located at the bottom of waters. The ground contact members are arranged in the submersible work platform to arrange the submersible work platform on the bottom of waters. The guide pipes are arranged on the work platform to be vertically movable and rotatable and guide a drilling tool powered by a drill drive. The guide pipe drive is formed in the work platform and rotates the guide pipes.</p> |
