PURPOSE: A high-pressure swivel is provided to efficiently rotate a shaft by minimizing the gap between the shaft and a male gland using the structural features of a disc spring. CONSTITUTION: A high-pressure swivel(100) comprises a body(10), a shaft(14), a ball cap(20), one or more ball insertion grooves(18), a ball(26), an elastic unit, a female gland(32), and a male gland(36). One end of the shaft is rotatably inserted into a chamber(12) of the body. The ball cap is coupled to the outer side of one end of the shaft. The ball insertion grooves are recessed along the outer diameter of one end of the shaft. The ball is fitted to the ball insertion groove of the shaft through a ball insertion hole(24) of the ball cap and assists the rotation of the shaft. The female gland is arranged on one side of a packing(34) and transfers tension from an elastic unit to the packing. The male gland is arranged on the other side of the packing and supports the packing stretched outward.
