PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell activity measurement method and an apparatus for conventionally measuring an activity such as a cell expansion based on an impedance measurement, and obtaining detail data regarding a correlation between an impedance change and the cell activity. SOLUTION: As the cell is cultured on a surface of at least one electrode 2 among a plurality of the electrodes disposed in a culture medium accommodated in a measurement vessel 13, a predetermined voltage is applied between a plurality of the electrodes, and information on an impedance is continuously detected, stored and associated with an elapsed time in the culture. As the cell is cultured, an image of the cell on the surface of at least one electrode 2 is continuously captured, and information on the image is stored and associated with the elapsed time in the culture. A curve for indicating a temporal change in the information on the impedance and the image at the predetermined elapsed time during the culture are simultaneously displayed based on the stored information.
