<p>PURPOSE: A pulling-roll used in glass manufacturing process and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to mold glass ribbon in which deformity and cracks are decreased. CONSTITUTION: A pulling-roll(200) comprises a shaft member(204) and a roll assembly(202). The roll assembly is located in the shaft member, and is composed of stacks which are compressed in the axial direction of ring elements(220) molded from a mica paper. The mica paper includes mica platelets layers which are overlapped in parallel. The shore D hardness of the contact surface of the roll assembly is 10 or greater or 60 or less. The stacks compacted in the axial direction of the ring elements comprise a plurality of first ring elements and a plurality of second ring elements. The first ring element among the plurality of first ring elements has the first external diameter. The second ring element among the plurality of second ring elements has the smaller second external diameter than the first external diameter.</p> |
