PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for editing a text are provided to store a selected object in a memory by doubly selecting an image. CONSTITUTION: An RF(radio frequency) modem(410) communicates with other node. A touch input unit(440) provides a touch input signal of a user. A control unit(420) inspects an input signal for cutting or copying sentences. The control unit displays a menu window by receiving the input signal. When the user input signal is received through the menu window, the control unit receives an object through a highlighter and displays a highlighting icon.
