PURPOSE: A tool holder having an integral damper is provided to reduce a load of an individual torque transmitting member and extend the lifetime of a tool adaptor because a plurality of the torque transmitting member are distributed around a central axis of the tool adaptor. CONSTITUTION: A tool adaptor comprises a holder(10) and a tool receiving unit(22). The holder is attached on a machining tool. The tool receiving unit receives a tool and is mounted in the holder in order to rotate within a limited range. The tool receiving unit has elasticity in an axial direction and is flexibly fixed to the holder.
