PURPOSE: An automatic ship berthing system and a method thereof are provided to safely and automatically berth a ship by considering ship information about a size, a position, and the mass of the ship. CONSTITUTION: A ship information acquisition server(110) acquires ship information including a position, a size, a direction, and the mass of a berth target ship. Plural guide line delivery devices(200) are installed in different locations. The guide line delivery devices connect the berth target ship with guide lines based on the acquired ship information. A calculation server(120) calculates a distance between the berth target ship and a berth shore based on the acquired ship information.
