PURPOSE: An LED circuit is provided to improve the life span and efficiency by directly driving light emitting units with a commercial AC source. CONSTITUTION: A light emitting unit(100) comprises multiple light emitting diodes. A first SPDT(210) is connected to the anode of an AC power source. A second SPDT(220) is connected to the cathode of the AC power source. A control unit(230) controls the first SPDT and the second SPDT. A comparator(231) produces the output subordinated to the polarity of the AC power voltage.
