摘要 PURPOSE: An electron capturing detector using auxiliary gas is provided to reduce the occurrence of contamination due to the long period of using time and to increase the effect of a heat washing operation by reducing contamination on the surface of a detection electrode and radiation sources. CONSTITUTION: An electron capturing detector(200) of a gas chromatograph includes an electrode guide(213), an electrode auxiliary gas inlet(218), and a cell auxiliary gas inlet(232). The electrode guide is concentrically spaced apart from an electrode(212). The auxiliary gas inlets are respectively at the upper part and the lower part of an ionization chamber. Electrode auxiliary gas flows to the ionization chamber along the surface of the electrode guide. The flow of cell auxiliary gas is formed through an edge gap at the lower part of the ionization chamber, and the cell auxiliary gas flows to the ionization chamber along the surface of radiation sources on the lateral part of the ionization chamber.
