PURPOSE: A spindle motor is provided to prevent functioning errors of the spindle motor by positioning a winding assembly and a rotor case on a ball bearing. CONSTITUTION: A base plate is formed at a base of a spindle motor. The outer cylinder part(16a) of a ball bearing(16) is fixed on the upper side of the base plate(11). A wire assembly(13) is mounted on the outer periphery of the outer cylinder part of the ball bearing. A hub(17a) of a rotor case(17) is inserted into the inner cylinder portion(16b) of the ball bearing. |
