PURPOSE: Functional beverage containing arginine without the bitter taste is provided to effectively remove the bitter taste of the arginine from the beverage. CONSTITUTION: Functional beverage contains 0.5-10wt% of L-arginine, 0.1-10wt% of organic acid, and the balance of purified water. The organic acid is DL-malic acid or citric acid. The molar ratio of the L-arginine and the organic acid is 1:0.5-1. The pH of the beverage is lower than 5.
