PURPOSE: A PE(Polyethylene) mat and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to form an edge portion of a mat because an unnecessary portion is eliminated by pressing the edge portion. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a PE mat is as follows. A PE resin is foamed so that a PE foam having various voids is manufactured. A film is laminated on a surface of the PE foam so that an upper sheet(30) and lower sheet(10) are manufactured. The PE foam is used as a cushion member(20) and the lower sheet is laminated on the lower part of the cushion member and the upper sheet is laminated on the upper part of the cushion member so that a PE mat is temporally produced. An edge portion of the temporally produced PE mat is heated for predetermined time and pressed by a press(100) so that an outer end of the edge portion is cut by a cutting blade(122).
