<p>The invention relates to a portable spectrophotometer and to a method for characterising solar collector tubes for the simultaneous in-field characterisation of reflection and transmission coefficients. The device includes all of the components required to perform the aforementioned measurements, such as a module for measuring the reflection coefficient (R) of the inner tube (1'), a module for measuring the transmission coefficient (T) of the outer tube (1"), an electronic system for acquiring and processing data (12), an external computer (13) for controlling the device and exporting the measured data (17), and a system allowing communication (15) between the device and the computer (13). The invention is related to compounds for prevention of cell injury or protection of cells. The compounds are involved in the maintenance or the increase of hydrogen sulphide in cells, which results in a protection of the cells or the prevention of cell injury. The compounds of the invention can be used in cell culture and tissue culture techniques. They can also be used in several medical conditions such as ischemia, reperfusion and hypothermia, or for preserving organs which are used for transplantation.</p> |
