At least one connecting mechanism (10) between the trailer chassis (F) and jib is located in the brake linkage region and this mechanism is released when the jib is raised and engaged when the jib is lowered into the transport position. The mechanism comprises at least two members joined via a form-fit, non-positive, friction and/or clamp connection. The jib comprises telescopic sections (3, 3') and can be rotated about a turntable (5). A tow bar (7) is located beneath the front end of the jib. A brake linkage (8) is connected to at least one of the trailer wheels (9) and an output braking device. |
