PURPOSE: A security sensing apparatus and method are provided to minimize wrong alarm rate of target detection and to minimize power consumption of a sensor. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of sensors(100,101) detects an intruder in an area of a pre-sensing step, a sensing step, and a post sensing step. A plurality of amplifiers(110,111) amplifies a signal of the plurality of sensors. A switch(120) switches the signal entered from the plurality of amplifiers. A distributor(130) distributes the signal entered from the switch. A plurality of analog to digital converters changes the signal entered from the distributor into a digital signal. A main control processor(150) controls the switch and the distributor and performs a signal processing algorithm by receiving the digital signal entered from one among the plurality of analog to digital converters changes. A signal dedicated processor(160) receives the digital signal entered from another analog to digital converter and signal-processes it.
