The strip (100) has a locking element comprising a locking tab (151) and an extractable tab (154) whose actuating corner (155) bears against a bottom part (117) of a groove (115) formed at an edge of the strip. The extractable tab pushes the locking tab to penetrate partially into a counterpart groove (125') of an edge of another strip (100'), when traction is applied on the extractable tab after assembly of the strips by assembly structures of the strips, such that the locking tab is engaged in the grooves for locking the assembly in a direction perpendicular to a plane of the strips.
