A machine (100) to fold a cardboard blank into an open tray. The machine includes means to displace a blank (1a) from a stack of blanks (1) to a table (150), means (171) to clamp the blank in a fixed position to the table, folding means (180) to fold up sides and ends of the blank into vertically extending walls, consolidation means to urge overlapping flaps of the sides or ends into slots in the base of the blank, and means to eject the open tray from the machine. |
