PURPOSE: A root protective active member for green trees is provided to transplant the green trees without damaging the roots, and to supply nutrients to the trees by being decomposed. CONSTITUTION: A root protective active member(10) for green trees includes a binding unit(20). The binding unit surrounds the root(101) of the trees, and an earth ball around the root for growing and transplanting the trees. The binding unit is produced with vegetable starch or biodegradable synthetic resins mixed with fertilizer, and is formed with bands having the predetermined width and length. The bands include cores formed with the biodegradable synthetic resins. The fertilizer contains phosphoric acid, potassium, and nitrogen.
