<p>PURPOSE: A method for pre-treating and treating pig irons is provided to restrict the increase of S(Sulfur) by melting scrap irons using oxidation heat in a refining container in advance. CONSTITUTION: A method for pre-treating and treating pig irons comprises following steps. Scrap irons are putted into a refining container filled with the pig irons. The scrap irons are melted at the same time as the desiliconization is processed by blowing pure oxygen in. The desiliconized pig irons are desulfurized(second preliminary process). The desulfurized pig irons are decarbonized.</p> |
